Description

San Francisco Unified School District's Willie Brown Middle School represents a bold commitment to sustainability and educational innovation. Through thoughtful design and engineering, the school provides students with a conducive learning environment and serves as a beacon of sustainability within the community.

Highlights

  • Willie Brown Middle School sets a new standard for eco-friendly education, designed to collaborate with High Performance Schools (CHPS) standards. Sustainable features such as ample natural light, solar panels, and rainwater harvesting systems enrich the learning environment while promoting environmental stewardship.

  • AlfaTech provided comprehensive mechanical, electrical, plumbing, technology, and solar photovoltaic engineering design services for the "bridging" design. Additionally, MEP and Technology documents were developed up to the Design-Development level, facilitating the seamless integration of engineering solutions into the school's construction process.
