Highlights

  • This mixed-use development exemplifies a commitment to sustainable living through various eco-friendly features. With LEED Gold certification, the project incorporates innovative solutions like a 16,200-gallon cistern for rainwater harvesting, showcasing a dedication to reducing potable water usage. This approach not only aligned with the environmental goals but also promotes a greener lifestyle for residents and visitors alike, fostering a culture of conservation within the community.

  • 38 Dolores stands as a beacon of community wellness, embodying the ethos of holistic health and well-being. Beyond its residential and retail components, the project prioritizes the health of its surroundings by implementing sustainable landscape practices fueled by rainwater irrigation. By adhering to the San Francisco Stormwater Management Ordinance and Sustainable SITES Pilot Project criteria, the development not only enhances the local environment but also promotes a sense of interconnectedness and vitality within the neighborhood, fostering a space where both people and nature can thrive together.

  • Integrating a 30,000 square-foot Whole Foods grocery store into the ground level of the mixed-use development seamlessly blends retail convenience with environmental consciousness. By harnessing rainwater for irrigation purposes, the project showcases a harmonious fusion of retail operations with sustainable practices, demonstrating how businesses can play a pivotal role in promoting eco-friendly initiatives. This integration not only enhances the appeal of the retail space but also serves as a model for future developments seeking to balance commercial viability with environmental responsibility in urban settings like San Francisco.
