Erik has over a decade of experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing/process piping (MEP+PP) engineering, project management, and sustainability. His work covered coast-to-coast and international projects, including several LEED and WELL certifications. Erik has an industrious and collaborative approach focused on project success.
Erik received CSE's "40 under 40" award as well as an international ASHRAE Technology Award. He has served for several years as co-chair of the San Francisco office Mechanical + Plumbing Department and as chair of AlfaTech's Sustainability Studio. Since 2019, Erik has been a member of ASHRAE Standards Committee 228P: Standard Method of Evaluating Zero Energy and Zero Carbon Building Performance. Since 2022, Erik has also been a member of ASHRAE Standards Committee 240: Quantification of Life Cycle Greenhouse Gas Emissions of Buildings.
